A Big Environmental Issue

Hello All,

I am posting a really burning issue. At least it is big issue for me. Yesterday i and my mom were passing from yamuna bridge while travelling to Aanand Vihar Bus Stand. My mom said that if we had brought the remaining of the waste of the Pooja offering then we could dispose it in to Yamuna River. I just wondered that we Hindus always believe that every river at least Ganga and Yamuna is Holi. Then how can we think to dispose such or any item in to the river.
We know we do it. But we said that the pollution in india is increasing. Guys Shame on us. We blame govt. for such issues that "Ganga & Yamuna is too much polluted" but we are only responsible persons for such this condition. We know that the rivers are main source of water but we always makes it dirty.
Nobody understand it after all we have the feeble mentality. I hope after reading this post some of us will think deeply about it.
